This post could almost be presented as "done" for blogging purposes. However, for the record, I gave up about half-way though trying to make the thin line of vertical smoke from Ahmadinejad's jay look realistic.  The general haze turned out pretty good though, thanks to an excellent "add smoke using Photoshop" tutorial I found online here.
